Mission Statement
Startup253 is Tacoma’s home for the startup community. We bring together entrepreneurial leaders, venture capital, corporate, and local government to advance our goal of helping the South Sound region become the best home for innovation and creative new companies.

Eli Moreno
He is the founder of SurgeTacoma and the Union Club incubators and co-working spaces, serving the entrepreneurial community in the South Puget Sound. He is an early investor on several startups and works closely with companies seeking to raise capital.

Kristine Grace
She has a background in medicine, biotech, research, marketing, and is a serial entrepreneur with local roots in Tacoma

Andrew Fry
He is currently a lecturer and Director of Industry at the UW-Tacoma and tech leader in Tacoma.

He is a community organizer with an MBA from UWT who is passionate about entrepreneurship in Tacoma and currently works in biotech.
